"In spring 2020, an emergency situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic that struck Italy very hard prevented Austrian musicians from performing live there. This record has been originally created for the purpose of a video project 'ConcertiSulSofà', a series of recorded, unreleased concerts performed mostly at homes of musicians on the initiative of Austrian Cultural Forum in Rome, offering people concert experience at their homes.
Most of these songs appeared four years ago on our album "Getting Out of the Envelopes". However, we wanted to perform and capture them in a way that we have been doing live for the last couple of years in a duo setting, without the rest of the band, which makes this record some sort of a distilled version of the original 'Getting Out of the Envelopes'."
