MOSAIK war Ángela Tröndles erste „working-band“, in der sie ihre Eigenkompositionen zum Klingen brachte und als Sängerin sowohl instrumental singend als auch mit eigenen Lyrics zu hören war. Mit ihrem Debütalbum 2007 trat sie erstmals an die Öffentlichkeit, das Wechselspiel von auskomponierten Passagen mit Improvisationen aller Ensemble-Mitglieder prägte den Klang dieses Ensembles, das zahlreiche Konzerte im In- und Ausland spielte. 2010 erweiterte sie das Quintett um ein Streichquartett, der Klang dieser noch farbenreicheren Besetzung wurde ebenfalls auf CD aufgenommen.

“MOSAIK” was Ángela’s first working band where she performed her own compositions as a singer using her voice in an instrumental way as well as with her lyrics. With her debut album “Dedication to a city” (2007) she made a first step out of the rehearsal space into the music scene and gained numorous good reviews by the press. The interplay between through-composed parts and improvisations of the musicians is the characteristic sound of this band. 2009/2010 they have been selected for the Austrian Support Program NASOM (New Austrian Sound of Music) and thanks to this played concerts all over the world. 2010 Ángela began composing music for the quintet plus string quartet, all of these compositions can be heard on their second album “Eleven Electric Elephants”
